About the Artists
Vasquez plays acoustic driven, harmony-laden folk rock inspired by his favorite 70s artists including The Beatles, The Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, Jim Croce, and James Taylor. His songs speak about life’s ups and downs, loves lost, moments enjoyed and the beginning of life itself. Vasquez picked up his first guitar when he was 10 years old, and playing music has been his passion ever since.
In early 2000, he wrote his first of many jingles for the Lubbock market and has written close to 100 jingles since. A Lubbock music legend, he has also been performing consistently at local venues, including regularly at Teddy Jack’s.
A soulful guitarist known for improvisational excellence, Sprott adds a new dimension (and 42 years of professional music experience) to the Lubbock music scene.
In 1980, Sprott, along with Dennis Jones and Greg Galbraight, formed a band that became The Nelsons. The punkabilly band entered an MTV contest in the 1980s and played together until 1991. The Nelsons recorded two albums (an EP and a full-length CD), and opened for groups including the Culture Club and Billy Idol, and jammed with Jimmy Page.
Years later, Sprott still consistently delivers some of the most powerful live music in West Texas.
Castle’s setlist features a variety of genres – rock, country, alternative, soul, and rap – to accommodate different audiences. His musical influences are drawn from Dave Matthews, Zac Brown Band, Pepe Aguilar, U2, Coldplay, Dwight Yoakam, Ed Sheeran, and Elton John, to name a few.
Castle loves the variety of music he covers, as it ensures that the audience is having a great time!
Micro Bullets w/ Brian McRae
Micro Bullets w/ Brian McRae draw from the easy listening, country, rock, blues, and jazz genres creating a unique sound.
McRae is an active musician, singer-songwriter, and producer residing in Lubbock. He is actively writing and recording many styles of music.
A native of McAllen, Texas, Garza remembers always having a passion for music, especially after getting his first guitar from his grandmother when he was 12. He moved to Lubbock in 1997 and quickly fit into the music scene with his uniquely Southwestern, acoustic rock meets country style and varied set-list.
Garza fell in love with West Texas and considers Lubbock “home.” He has become a popular entertainer and performs nightly at many Lubbock establishments, including Teddy Jack’s. He also is an accomplished DJ and does numerous weddings and private events a year.
Jenni Dale Lord rocked Austin, Texas, for over a decade, but has returned to her West Texas roots in Lubbock. While her style of music can be described as “Americana,” Dale blends elements of country, rock, and blues into her unique singing and songwriting style.
Music has been Dale’s love and her passion her entire life. Her dedication to her art make her a success and will continue to do so in the future.
